About this site
GOW Laufey Wiki is an independent, fan-made reference for God of War Laufey, the Santa Monica Studio game arriving February 16, 2027 on PlayStation 5. We built it because the information around this game moves fast, gets repackaged by content farms, and often loses its source along the way.
What we do differently
- Official sources only. Every dated fact on this site traces to Sony, Santa Monica Studio, or a named outlet reporting official material — and each page lists its sources at the bottom.
- Unknowns stay unknown. When something is not announced (PS5 Pro modes, PC plans, voice casting), we say exactly that instead of dressing a guess as news.
- Update logs, not silent edits. Every page carries a published date and an updated date. Cosmetic rebuilds never fake freshness.
- No reliance on unauthorized material. Nothing on this site is built on leaked or datamined content. When an unverified rumor is widespread enough that readers will meet it anyway, we note that it exists, label it unverified, and keep it clearly separated from official facts. We don't embed other creators' videos — only official channels.
How images are used
Screenshots and key art on this site are official press assets distributed by Sony Interactive Entertainment via the PlayStation Blog, credited on every image. Original graphics (logo, backgrounds, social cards) are our own generated artwork. We host no unauthorized rips, and we remove or replace any asset on request.
The plan for launch
Through February 2027 this site tracks announcement news. After launch, it pivots to hands-on guides — walkthroughs, boss strategies, weapon and build references — published only after we've verified them on the shipped game. Pages that need real playtime are gated behind the release date by design.
